A central feature of the Luau is the potluck soup. Villagers bring different ingredients to prepare this soup for the [[Governor]], who tastes and judges it. The soup-tasting begins by talking to Mayor [[Lewis]].ルアウのメインイベントは、ポットラックスープです。町の人々は食材を持ち寄り、スープで知事をもてなします。（ルイスと話すことでイベントが始まります。）
Depending upon what type of produce you supply for the soup, there will be different reactions from the Governor and Mayor Lewis. The outcome will increase or reduce friendship points with all villagers.スープに対する知事の評価は、プレイヤーの入れた食材と品質（料理は除く）によって変化します。
The Luau ends automatically after the Governor tastes the soup.知事の評価によって町の人々全員の友好度が増減します。（サンディ、魔術師、クロバス、ドワーフは除く） イベントが終了すると、お祭りも終了します。
