ページ「セバスチャン」について

こんにちは。編集中の破損・ミスの修正・時間表記などでご迷惑かけてしまい申し訳ありません。
（言い訳ですが、時間表記は日本語の用法にあわせて12:30PM→午後00:30としましたが、
　ゲーム表記は12:30PM→午後12:30でした。確認不足、申し訳ありません
　午前/午後表記はこちらを参考にしました：https://www.nao.ac.jp/faq/a0401.html）

英語版「In his bed.」の訳ですが、

こちらのページの 格助詞「で」の用法→「２　ことがらが起きる場所を表わします。」
といった用法で用いましたが不適でしたか？　よければどこが日本語として不適だったか教えていただけると幸いです。

また「ベッドに横になっている」という訳に変更するのはどう思いますか？

英語版「On the 4th of Summer, he has an appointment at the clinic.」の訳ですが、
「予約がある」よりは「予約している」の方がより自然な表現に思いますがどうでしょうか？

「ベッドに寝ている。」の表現ですが、「ベッドで寝ている。」とすると「ベッド」よりも「寝ている」のほうが強調されてしまうように感じたため、「に」にしています。英語版からは実際に睡眠しているのか横になっているだけなのか判別できなかったため、どちらでも矛盾しない「寝ている」という語にしました (デジタル大辞泉での「寝る」の意味1「眠る」および3「からだを横たえる」)。「横になっている」でも問題無いと思います。ただ、結婚後の会話で「前は、午後2時に起きて午前5時に寝る時もあったからな。」と話すことから察するに、恐らく眠っているのでしょう。

診療所については、彼との会話に「ああ、くそっ…忘れてた。きょうはハービー先生のところに行くんだった。」というのがあり、自分から「予約している」ようには感じられなかったので、中立的な「予約がある」にしていました。しかし、ハーヴィーの診療所のページに住人の健康診断について説明があるため、Szstさんの翻訳「毎年夏の4日に彼は診療所で定期検診を受けます。」で概ね良さそうです。 FlameArche (トーク) 2018年3月6日 (火) 13:06 (UTC)

Journey of the Prairie King

Hello FlameArche! You asked me to move the page アドベンチャー・オブ・Prairie King to アドベンチャー・オブ・プレーリーキング, but when you play the arcade game, the starting screen still says "Prairie King". So, I think the page name should be the same as what shows in-game. I am using the latest beta version (1.3.35) on Steam. Is the name "Prairie King" translated into Japanese on iOS or console? Please advise.

Hello Margotbean! Thank you for your quick reply to my message.

'Journey of the Prairie King' is mainly mentioned as 'アドベンチャー・オブ・プレーリーキング' in dialogues, mails and UIs. There's no string literal 'Prairie King' in Japanese localization files except a key string in yaml. So I think the correct name is fully translated one.

Exactly, the logo, which shows in the arcade game, uses English as you say. In my opinion, it often happens that logos use English alphabets in Japan, such as "Super Mario Bros.", "Monster Hunter" or "The Legend of Zelda" series (because it's cool and stylish!). Even though, in ordinary cases (outside of graphic designs), their names are written in Japanese characters. FlameArche (トーク) 2019年2月12日 (火) 22:25 (UTC)

I've moved the page to the new translated name. I've left a redirect from the old page, because some pages still link to it. If you wish, you can change all the links, then mark the old page for deletion (place {{delete}} at the top.) Or, you can leave the links as they are; users will arrive at the correct page just the same.
